Booth Number 5208
located in the EDM pavilion.

Hausermann will again be exhibiting at the International Machine Tool Show this September in Chicago.  We will introduce our latest version software for our control which  features new neural logic-based NDA circuitry and is considered a major breakthrough for EDMing.  The new circuitry eliminates arcs - regardless of conditions - while increasing performance.  This redefines how EDMs are controlled.  Be sure to stop in and ask for a demonstration.

Our booth will be staffed with electrical and application engineers to answer your EDM questions.  Take advantage of our 40 years of tool room and EDM experience to help solve your  problems.

For our EDM demonstration, we selected a Taiwanese EDM and upgraded it with our latest CNC control to meet today's competitive standards.  The EDM is outfitted with a tool changer and C-axis to fully show the power and ease of the control.  The EDM will feature our exclusive FD Sensors (flame sensors) .  Check them out, and take the worry out of unattended operation.

We will again have our model 36 CNC Abrader in the booth to demonstrate the latest advances in abrading.  Abrading, already considered the fastest method for machining graphite electrodes, has made important improvements in tolerances, finishes, and detail.  Electrodes abraded using Rapid Prototyped models (stereolithography) to reduce lead times will be on display along with other large, highly detailed, abraded electrodes.

Call or e-mail us at sales@hausermann.net to arrange a VIP appointment and demonstration.

Did you know that Hausermann co-built (along with Regal International and Precision EDM) one of the largest EDMs in the world?  A large Eastern European twin-gantry milling machine was converted to full CNC/EDM.  The spindle heads were replaced with EDM heads on both gantries.  Hausermann's CNC control was selected to interface and control both machine tool and Precision EDM power supply.  The travel of each gantry is 3 meters by 12 meters, with over 2 meters of day light between the table and  head.  Simultaneous X-Y-Z, and W axes are needed to operate the EDM.  The control has the power to add many more axes (including C), if needed in the future.  The machine is at Regal International of Windsor, Ontario.

In addition to the custom machine at Regal International, Hausermann has several other EDM manufacturers using our
